Alli side effects, what are the side effects of alli pills, what are alli side effects, we tell you all the side effects of alli tablets and the side effects of Orlistat.
Alli contains 60mg of Orlistat, this is sometimes prescribed by doctors for very overweight and obese people and is called Xenical and has 120mg of Orlistat, this does not mean that you should just take two 60mg alli pills to get the effect of a Xenical pill because you will regret doing it, Xenical should only be taken under a doctors supervision but 60mg alli can be purchased over the counter if the chemist agrees that you have a BMI of 28 or over.
The Alli Oops
Because Orlistat works by stopping your body absorbing all of the fat that you eat the result is that you can get very oily runny motions and you may even need to flush the toilet more than once to get rid of all of it, alli may also cause a leakage of fat from your bottom and excess wind, you can also get bloating with a belly ache plus a very urgent need to run to the toilet and in some people incontinence, but it must be stressed that these side effects should not happen if you stick to a low fat diet, if you eat a diet high in fat e.g. lots of burgers and chips then you should be prepared for the results.
You should consider taking vitamin supplements if you take alli pills because as well as letting the fat pass straight through you it can also let vital vitamins and minerals go through you as well without your body having a chance to absorb them, if you do decide to take vitamins then you should take them at least 2 hours before taking alli, you should not take alli if you are pregnant or if you are breast feeding, other less common side effects of alli can include tiredness, headaches, gum problems and irregular periods.
